What do you use for airway clearance?

I used to have a thing to blow into. Acapella sounds familiar, but I can't swear to it. These days, coughing hard during a hot shower is my primary chest PT. My son wcf does the same thing. He tends to take longer, hotter shoswers than I do and he coughs more (both more frequently and harder). I have also recently found that going for a walk can help when my lungs feel icky.

No Vest (we don't get it here), so Nebs+Hypertonic saline + wheezing/huffing/active cycle breathing type stuff. The vibrating gadget you blow into (with the ball inside) makes me too lightheaded. I aim for 2x daily, but if I had a really long good exercise which resulted in coughing up a lot in the evening (that's the point right?), sometimes I miss the evening and just use an inhaler.

I do vest 2 times a day for 30 mins. each time. That is when I am well. When I'm feeling gunky or sick I up vest to 3-4 times a day. I huff with every vest and that is the only way I find the vest effective at all.

I also exercise (jog) at least 3 times every week at a very intense level. It helps me bring things up (the bouncing on the treadmill seems to help) sometimes more than the vest.

I've also had the PEP and have been given as Liza so perfectly called them "beatments" (perfect, Liza!!!). I have also tried the flutter but didn't find that did anything at all.
