I usually get tired and do a lot more coughing. I just typically feel run down and don't have energy to do things. If I get a fever, I know I'm done for. I am truly sick when I get a fever.
Sometimes I also get short of breath and need to do more treatments. Or I feel like even when I do treatments, they don't help, like I don't feel any relief afterward.
So that is how I feel when I know things aren't 'right'.
Hope you're back to 100% soon.

I am similiar to Kelli, but I have had that raw feeling before. It turned out to be bronchitis. Be very careful as I am sure you aware. Even tho your lungs may not be very affected, it could lead to something just the same.

I get short of breath very easily...SUPER tired...and cough more (but not necesarily productive, kind of tickly throat cough). I am evry much like you, I consider myself somewhat mild lung disease, but I do notice when I get an infection and I can tell when I am going on a downward spiral. Like Melissa said, be very careful, and if you think that you are sick, see if you can see your doctor, they will be able to tell you more info.

For myself it's pain when i cough. And it hurts to breathe in. As well, whenever i have an infection and inhale, i feel as if i'm inhaling smoke almost. Um what else? If you ARE producing mucus and coughing it up, look at the colour. If it's white it's normal and healthy, if it's light yellow it's a mild infection, and darker yellow to green means you have an infection. I hope you feel better!

Shortness of breath-sometimes gasping for air, dark yellow or green mucus, wheezing, coughing after walking up a few stairs or lifting something, loss of appetite and lack of energy.

Mine always starts with my back muscles being really sore and then most time I get hemoptysis (coughing up blood), I never get a 'true' chest infection mine is always the bleeding 1st so then on to IV's but also my docs prefer not to let you get real sick so they will do meds if they see a drop in your #'s so if you get PFT's done might be worth trip to doc to see what they are.
