Here is a list that Reagans nutritionist gave me...Reagan hates applesauce.

*apple juice
*apricots (pureed)
*banana (mashed)
*geletin dessert
*honey (not for children less than 1 year old)
*jelly/jam
*ketchup
*orange juice
*orange marmalade
*peaches (pureed)
*pears (pureed)
*prunes (juice or pureed)
*raspberry sherbert
*tomatoes (juice, pureed, strained)
*yogurt

Reagan prefers the yogurt, though I make sure and buy ones with real fruit added so that there's more acidity. I've used a lot of the Gerber mixed fruits.

Believe it or not I remember being about 3 and having to take the enzymes and what worked for me 100% was ketchup. My mom put it in a tiny teaspoon of ketchup and I ate it right up. I also heard you can put them in juice and freeze the juice like a popcicle, may be more fun for kids. Also, try peanut butter, like in a peanut butter and jelly sandwhich, plus you get the extra calories in her. Or dairy free smoothies, juice, ice, fruit, thats how my God daughter takes her medication (she doesn't have CF but she has other problems)

Another thing I would suggest is maybe looking into a speech therapist. I know it sounds kind of strange but when I was about 3 I still wasn't able to take any pills at all and it was becoming a realy hassle for my parents. My pediatrician recommended a speech therapist because they were able to teach me how to swallow pills properly, without my parent having to worry I would choke. I think it definitely helped me in the long run cause I learned how to swallow pills at a young age, which I know is the reason I'm so good at it now. Plus I remember, it was also fun. I think it is covered by most insurance plans too.

Good luck, and give you daughter a huge squeeze for me!!!

I would try giving the enzyme whole in the pudding. If the enzyme is not opened up then it should be fine in dairy products. I have been giving them to my boys in greek yogurt for years.
My youngest has been swallowing pills whole since he was 9 months. So it is definitely worth a try!

blessings,
missa
