Sorry ladies, I'm not laughing!! (got a little chuckle, though. Sounds like a dumb blonde guy joke!)

Not everyone has a MAN around the house who does more than take out the garbage, gets a load of laundry done, and take down the X-mas tree before February!

Though I've heard there are guys who can't even boil water!

Hands up to those ladies who had breakfast made for them on Saturdays!? Even when hubby worked a 40+ hour week!

My husband is PHENOMENAL! Honestly, I can't even begin to express how incredible it is to be married to a man of true substance. He's a true leader in our home, a tender-hearted, loving, and strong man of God. There are too few like him in this world, and I'm so blessed to be the woman he loves.

And no, that's not just a bunch of sappy newlywed stuff. We are sappy at times, but we're very well grounded. I dared God to give me such a man. I prayed earnestly for 8 years that God would shape me into a woman who was deserving of someone of such incredible character.

CF spouses are made of some pretty stern stuff. I know the original post was intended as a joke. I just wanted to take the opportunity to say how much I admire and respect my husband. Taking out the trash is pretty low on my list on what makes me happy.

I only wish more young women would hold out for a hero. They are still out there, I promise!

Pardon me from taking away from the original post, but just had to add an equally funny(?) anectdote to that...
Japan is one place in which taking out the trash is not even near what most guys will do in a household!
Seems to me, some of the Japanese women are finding their loved ones overseas, cause a good percentage (not all) of Americans, and even the French take good care of their wives.

The funny anectdote was just the other day, when the wife was starting to eat her 'bento' (a Japanese word for "box lunch"), when some of the female students asked her if she made it, herself. The wife replied with "yes", and one of the girls asked "so I suppose your husband doesn't do any cooking?", the wife replied with "yes, he cooks", then the girl asked "is he any good?". The wife smiled and said "Yes, he's really good!". The four or five girls all went "Ooohhhh!"
Moral of the story, they'll probably be looking for some foreign guy, cause not too many Japanese guys can even cook!
