I had what is called Zoom whitening 3x now the last I finally got the trays (impressions of my upper and lower teeth) and used the gel 4-5 hrs. every other day. Did it last no. I also had a terrible time with my gums after as the chemicals in this specific whitening was burning my gums, even though I was covering them with cotton. I was determined to have a nice smile. I turned 60 last December and have never smiled. I know sounds very vain. But believe me I am not. Imagine never smiling cause you are so horrified by the color of yr teeth, (due to specific meds used earlier in life). It was very damaging to my self esteem growing up. After all it's 2015 no one walks around with yellow teeth. There are other options now veneers which cost thousands of dollars. I also recently looked into something called snap on smile. Impressions are made of your teeth and it covers your teeth completely, like the trays they make for the whitening. I'm not sure what they are made of Porcelin not sure? But the ad looks amazing, these can run up to about $2500 or more. I was not a candidate for these either as I have what is called a under bite, my bottom teeth extend a bit and hit against my top and they would chip, at the veneers if I could afford them, my bottom jaw is extended, not to the point of looking like Jay Leno but enough that neither of these would have worked for me. There is also a earlier thread on here where quite a few people posted, look back on those, maybe someone had other suggestions. I hope you find something, believe me I feel your pain. Pat/60
