What is your daily routine?

I am just curious about everyones daily routine? When do you give CPT, or other treatments? Also, do you work a full time job and how do you adjust to the extra responsibilities. Plus, do you have other children and are they in sports or extra activities and how do you fit all this in in one day? Thanks for your replies!

DH and I both work full time. We have one child who is in preschool/daycare wcf.

I get up at 5:45 a.m. and do CPT with duoneb on DS for 20 minutes in our bed. He sleeps thru it, where if I use the vest, he's not as restful. Figure he can use that extra hour and a half of sleep more. If he's on tobi, he snuggles in bed with DH while I go shower.

I pick up DS at preschool at 5, he has a snack and he does his vest and duoneb for half an hour while playing xbox with one of us or watching tv. Add an extra 20 minutes if he's on tobi -- actually it's closer to half an hour or so 'cuz he's usually in the middle of a video game. He has supper, usually a bath, plays. Or Supper and swimming lessons at 7:30. Around 9:30 he does another half hour vest treatment & nebs. Has pulmozyme. A snack and off to bed.

If he's coming down with something, we set the alarm for 2:30 and do manual CPT and nebs for 20 minutes.

During the winter he has gymnastics on the weekend, but in the summertime he has it twice a week in the evenings. So we give him a snack, do his vest and he gets a late supper. I tried giving him a sandwich or something prior to it, but he prefers eating afterwards.

If we have something going on closer to 5 during the weekday -- like a birthday party or event, I'll pick him up early from preschool, do his vest and we're ready to go. Sometimes if we've got weddings or graduations on the weekends, we'll also do that.

I work Full-time. DH is a stay-at-home dad and works part-time in the evenings to help with our finances.

During the week, I get up at 5 am and start work at 6:30 am. While I am at work DH gives Emma a prevacid, does her neb and CPT once, and puts salt in one of her bottles.

I get off of work at 3:15. Home by 3:45. DH leaves for work about 4:15.

While DH is at work I give Emma her liquid vitamin, do her neb and CPT once, and put salt in one of her bottles. I also do a load or 2 of laundry, wash dishes, and give Emma a bath.

I try to have Emma fed and in bed about 10 pm so that I can get some sleep. DH gets home from work about 10:30 pm and he gets up with her any time she crys during the night.

Weekends...
Sunday
I boil the nebs & masks. We have enough that I only have to do it once a week.

I also boil all of her bottles and nipples. I bleach the kitchen sick. I throw out the sponge that we use for dishes and replace it with a new one.

Both of us work full time. I'm up at 4:45 am, shower, laundry, coffee, cereal. TOBI for guys at 5:45. Boys up at 6, shower, breakfast, meds. Bus 6:50.

Home from school at 2:30. Chest PT (therapist) at 5. Dinner w/ meds at 6. then pulmozyme and TOBI.

The routine seems to work since I'm at home at 2:30 and can do errands or drive them to sports or scouts. The TOBI months are harder and IV times it's nuts. But it all seems to work out.
