I get all that but I obviously am naive cos i don't WANT to believe it. I'm one of those people who thinks everybody else is a nice person and believes the people doing these studies are doing it to help US not THEM.

BUT...even if this is the cae, its not all bad is it? Say they dont find a cure as such, if they're finding new treatments all the time that extend life expectancy its better than nothing, yeah?

I'm sure I am just a young, maive, little girl but I just wanna believe its all good!

10 years, 10 years, 10 years,

That's all I have heard since my son was diagnosed back in 1978, granted treatment has come a long way since then but the same old line is still being told "within 10 years a cure or control will be found"

I waited and waited for that to happen and I'm sorry to say it never happened in my sons lifetime and I lost him to this terrible disease this year.

Greed, Greed and more Greed - that's all I can say.
