What makes you happy?

Well, since there is a thread about the top 5 things you're annoyed about, I thought maybe we should also think about the positive side of life and list 7 things that make us HAPPY or THANKFUL. Like, what Bill mention in the other thread. (Bill- maybe you could copy & paste what you already said) I'll get it started...

Here are the top 7 things that make me happy:
1- My boyfriend
2- My family
3- Puppies!
4- Art. & being creative
5- Music & dancing
6- Reading/watching inspirational stories
7- Watching the sunset
What about everyone else? What makes you happy? OR what are you thankful for?
My babies...every day, almost hourly.
Helping others, volunteer work, giving.
Relying on God to get me through things.
My hubby's self sacrificing spirit towards me and my kids.
Shopping!!! Shopping!! Shopping!!!
Planning our next trip.

Bill- there should be a button on your screen that says "copy" or "select all" when you right click the mouse. Do that, and then come back here to edit your post and right click again. The paste button should be available, so press that. I'm not sure what kind of computer you have but the steps may be slightly different on how to copy and paste material.

Thank you Amber. I was reacting to the negative feelings in the other thread. It is so easy to feel sorry for ourselves without being greatful for what we do have. I prefer to be thankful for what I have. I ask that people will put up with my short comings. I'm greatful that researches found treatments that benefit me. I'm happy that kind people raised the money to fund that research. I am thankful that I'm still alive and able to find the time for my treatments. I'm really glad that I'm able to cough because it cleans my lungs and keeps me alive. I'm glad that I live in a country where EVERYONE can be insured regardless of PRE-EXISTING CONDITIONS. I'm glad that young people can stay on their parents health insurance policy until age 24 and not be cast adrift at age 18 as it was two years ago. I'm glad that I have family around me even if they don't have a clue about CF. I do get pissed at people who profess "pull up the rope, I'm on board and I got mine". Bill
