what other foods can I mix enzymes with?

It's in the CFF literature regarding giving your infant or toddler enzymes. I've always used babyfood bananas. I think the difference is with adults and older kids -- the enzyme is in a capsule and makes it down into the stomach. With infants and toddler the enzymes can stay in their mouths and if you're using dairy, they break down that much faster. Liza

I dunno, as a child I took mine with ice cream, and never had a problem with digestive problems i.e. my enzymes breaking down too fast.

I understand people may say that they don't work as effectively, but I can tell you that's how Mark too his as a kid and it sounds like lizard did too, and they didn't have problems. Some things, even from the CFF are a bunch of hokey, honestly.

knowledge can be power and the fact is more is known now about treating CF than it was even 10 years ago. It is impossible to say that a person benefitted the full amount possible from enzymes they were given as a baby - just bc they did "okay" or didn't "have problems" doesn't mean they recieved the full benefit possible...given the most current info on enzymes, why would a parent do them any differently than the manufacturer or other "experts" suggest??

Not sure why this is even being debated!

Our dietician gave us a list of food with appopriate ph levels. You might ask your dietician if a list is available. It has a long list of foods from baby applesauce to peaches to pudding.
