I was on a long search for compressors, I had Pari Pro-nebs get slower and slower over just a couple years. I think we need a serious compressor for the 1-2 hour+ per day we run it. The Devilbiss Pulmo Aide 5650 seemed to have good reviews saying it lasted over 10 years w/ no issues. So far it's been good for me, same compressor model I had 15-20 years ago, I realized I don't have a need for really compact ones that get super-hot and break down over time.

they just don't make compressors the way they used to. We have a pari proneb ultra II -- it's our 3rd and DS is 6 years old. We also have a Devilbiss Pulmoaid and it's our 3rd as well -- seems with the devilbiss every two years it gets louder and treatment times increase.

Our spare is an ancient Devilbiss Pulmoaid circa 1993 that works like a charm. Was from a cousin whose child had asthma.
