what would happen?

back on this "drug" stuff again.

what would actually happen if some one did need advice about drugs,.... if they were takin them ect ect... would uz all just "leave" not say a word?
I know my self being 20 and all the people the same age as me are surrounded by drugs. or more so than some parents may think.

***not having a "go" at anyone***

just thought i would ask because at one point in my life i could of been asking you guys for advice on the subject

I'm 18 and i comlpetely know what you mean about some ppl in our age group ( and of all ages for tht matter) may have issues with drugs or questions about them.Just because some ppl don't like thinking about it or they think ppl with cf shouldnt do it, doesnt mean that they won't.
I think if anyone had a geniune question or concern about drugs/drug-use then that would be fine to discuss in the forum but the posts that were done before about crack n herion and stuff that were sarcastic or jokes (i am told) but honestly it was kinda dumb..like i know kids arent supposed to read it or whatever and maybe some ppl still concider me a kid because i am 18 but even some adults may have thought the things said were serious and there was really no need in it...It didnt majorily offend me or anything, I was just alil confused I guess(blonde moment<img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-blush.gif" border="0">) Anyways forums are for saying what you want but i think ppl should be a little conciderate of other users and remeber what the forum topic is...CF! Unless you are having serious questions just leave it be...lol we'll try to "keep the peace" in here i guess and just drop it!!

I don't want to speak for anyone, but what I think that bothers people isn't bringing up drugs, its all the advocating drug use going on. If someone brings up drugs on the forum, its probable that they are concerned about using them, concerned about the effect on their health and mind. You already have enough encouragement to use them, or you wouldn't be using them already, right?
I don't think people mind you bringing them up if youre concerned. I don't. I mind people joking about such a serious matter and I very much mind people saying they won't hurt you and go ahead and keep using them. That's all.

If someone has a problem with them, i'd much rather they voice it than keep doing something, not knowing the consequences of what they're doing.

When previous topics about pot brownies etc have come up I have gave my input. I have done my share of partying so by means want to sound like I am PURE because Lord knows that isnt true. I think the difference is the true need of someone asking input versus the "joke" style thread where those that arent aware its sarcastic would be upset. As with so many other things on here.....you cant always tell how its suppose to be interpreted. Maybe its only obvious to me, but that thread was SOOO over the top that I dont see how it can even be considered advocating drugs. Yes some people (including myself initially as stated in other responses) would take initial offense to drug use being made so light of................its one of those things. Damned if you!

Believe it or not... not everything that's illegal is harmful. And not everything that is LEGAL is okay just because the government says so. Cigarettes are legal. Need I say more? I know I won't be 100% agreed with here, but gay marriage is illegal in most places. And I think that's ridiculous. Just because the government says pot is BAD BAD BAD doesn't mean it has no good effects or it's going to kill you if you so much as look at it.

You need to make your own opinions. Not just go "Ohp! The government says X is bad and Y is good so I'm going to ban X and spend all my time encouraging Y." THINK FOR YOURSELF! I don't know about anyone else, but I don't happen to think this administration is the smartest one in the world. Just because Bush says gay marriage is morally wrong doesn't mean it is.

If you choose, BASED ON YOUR OWN EXPERIENCE OR KNOWLEDGE that pot is bad, then good for you. But it's not 100% true without any wiggle room. So if we say "Yes, go ahead and do it, but perhaps eat it instead, or use it in very careful moderation," it doesn't mean we're frickin satan. And if you want to share <u>your own</u> information on why it's bad, please feel free. But don't spout the government's useless judgmental crap everywhere, because we get enough of that all the time anyway.
