Hi guys,
A lady named Jenn told me to post this in this forum.
I don't know if this is the right place to post this, but I guess I'll keep this here until someone tells me otherwise.
I'm a writer, and a former family member of mine had CF. I am writing a book involving a CF patient, and unfortunately family information alone on treatment hasn't been enough to suffice for proper research. I was wondering, if anyone was interested, if you could give me a "low-down" on extensive hospital/hospice life for a CF patient? A timeline of sorts would be great.
Although I do not suffer from CF myself, I'm keeping all of you in my prayers. <3 Stay strong.

You may want to repost this over in the adult section. Those guys may have more helpful info. for you! I know I have a three year old with CF so we have not experienced a lot of the things that I am sure many of the older patients with CF have....yet, that is....My son has been hospitalized 2 times for CF exacerbations and one time to have a feeding tube placed for nightly supplemental feedings. He has not cultured positive for any of the typical CF bugs yet, either. CF symptoms vary pretty widely from patient to patient, too, so it can be hard to really say what a timeline would be. If you would like general info. about my son's typical day, treatment regiment and that sort of thing, you can send me a PM. I would be happy to tell you about that if it would be helpful.
