Confession time here, too! I used a bottle with DS in the mornings until he was 4 and CAUGHT me! We let him sleep in until 7:30 in the mornings, but I would sleep feed him formula when he was a baby and carnation instant breakfast when he turned 1 1/2 and I still used a bottle. I could get in a LOT of extra calories in just a 5 minute sitting.

Now I use a cup with a lid and straw. Whatever WORKS when one struggles with getting calories in.

My darling sister carried around a bottle with tang in it until she was 8 -- she'd mix it up herself and sit in front of the TV.

Hi there
My son is also 15 months old and uses a bottle <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif" border="0">
With the rollercoaster we've been on lately I am not in a hurry to switch either <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif" border="0">

I think we have to do whatever it takes regardless of what others think

Holly Ann is 16 months old and she has been off the bottle since she was 11 months old. I didn't take the bottle away from her she just decided one day that she didn't want it anymore. I breastfed her for the first 7 months and one day she decided she didn't want to nurse anymore so I pumped and she took the bottle for a while but then decided no more of that. She will drink her milkshakes out of a sippy cup but rarely drinks just milk from the sippy. I have found that she will drink milk from the sippy cups with straws and the nuby cups have been her favorite however she has learned how to make those leak so we have to switch yet again. I even offered her a bottle last week with milk thinking she might take it but nope, not a chance. I would let mine have the bottle as long as they were getting the milk and calories they were needing. Holly Ann is just very stubborn when she makes up her mind. =) LOL! Good Luck: Kristan

I also must confess my son is 2 1/2 and he still drinks 2-3 bottles of pedisure a day. I don't know what happens when I put it into a cup , he won't touch it. He also will not even hold the bottle. I still hold it like he's an infant. But I want him to get the calories so I do it. It doesn't bother me , but I know I should try to stop it again soon.
