Yep! I'm from the westside (grew up on South Whidbey Island) and now live on the east side of the state (about an hour north of Spokane!).

I just wanted to say that thanks to these posts I have Combined Inurance coming out next week for a quote. She confirmed that heart disease and diabetes are the only disqualifiers.

I had the Combined Insurance person come to my house-here is the plan I am considering:

Gold Plan
$61.76 per month just for me (or $150.96 for the family)-we will probably do just me for now.
$600 Hospital Admission
$300 per day of Hospital Confinment
$2000 for major outpatient surgery
$200 for minor outpatient surgery
$300 intensive care per day
$100 ER treatment

Silver Plan
$30.88 per month for just me ($66.78 for the family)
$300 Hospital Admission
$150 per day Hospital Confinment
$1000 major surgery
$100 minor surgery
$150 pre day intensive care
$50 ER Treatment

I am thinking about the GOLD hospital plan for me, and then for DH and the kids...they have an accident plan which is only $27.75 per month for them (mine is already a hospital and accident plan).....it would cover for them:
$800 hospital addmission
$200 day hospital confinment
$200 day intensive care
and then it goes on to a list a bunch of other things....but these would only be covered for an accident (broken arm, etc).

For my plan there is a 12 month pre-exisintg sickness clause-which means CF wouldn't be covered for 12 months. It also says successive periods of hospital confinment for the same or related injury or sickness will be considered one continuous confinement unless separated by more than 30 days.

All benefits are paid to me.

These insurance policies are great and a no brainer in my opinion. I now have 3 policies as I just got a policy through Combined as well. I guess you can never have too many of these.
