I just purchased a pari proneb ultra II from ihealthdepot.com for about $50. In the past I've purchased from american allergy (filters and neb cups) -- they have the same machine for about $60. I ordered a devilbiss from comfort 1st via shop.com for under $120. Our first pari we got from the hospital (apria) and our insurance was billed $360+ for a machine I saw online for $70-100

That is because supplies of such equipment can rape insurance and get away with it, so they do. That is just one of the problems with our healthcare system. Hence the difference in drug costs in america vs other parts of the developed world. We are paying for their damn R&D instead of letting the entire world equally pay for the R&D.
