Where do I donate my vest?

Not that I need one,

But just wondering how you would sterilize it? I heard of companies that do it I think...

(Ps: no criticism, just curious)

I don't have the actual vest portion or the tubing. Those would need to be purchased. I don't want to give those to anyone for germ control reasons. Those items should be reasonable to purchase. The expensive mechanical machine portion is what I have to give away. And you can disinfect the same way they disinfect furniture and machines in the hospital: caviwipes. The machine part of it is what is so expensive and what insurances don't want to purchase...

My plan was to take any vest/tubing to my local hospital and get them to chuck it through the autoclave, which is what they use to sterilise all their hospital equipment.

Luckily years ago, i used to work in the sterilising dept myself so will know people there who will hopefully just do it for me, no questions asked or policy to follow. It's not what you know, it's who ya know!
