Where do you store the Vest?

Ours (HillRom 105) sits on an end table next to the couch Emily uses when she does her vest. We leave it out given it's used so often. We have a tablecloth on the end table, though, for the purpose of being able to stash the whole thing underneath and out of sight if we want to. I don't generally think to move it for company like family or close friends... it's such a fixture in the room we don't even 'see' it anymore. It's up against a wall between the couch and a shelving unit and really not too conspicuous once we loop the hosing and vest out of the way between uses.

I love the Velcro idea for the nebulizer! I'll have to try that.

My son's is on a wooden microwave cart. The compressor part is on the bottom shelf and I keep a big round basket on top where we store the hoses and vest. It's nice because we can wheel it around.

we've tried it all bc it does need to be handy, but i hate looking at that thing lol. we did find a dolly (you know with wheels,) it has metal bars on the bottom and the back is cloth with a mesh pouch. works perfect, you can just wheel it any where you want, and wheel it back into a closet when done, no heavy lifting. it also has little bungie cords that hold the vest in. our updraft machine, tubes and vest all fit in the pouch. its pretty cool.

i just had a brilliant idea! but it needs work.
You can get an end table with a door on it so you can get into the bottom of it, you rig it with a powerstrip inside it so you have power inside it, and you build a pull out shelf out of drawer slides so when its time to do your vest, you just pull it out and use it then when you're finished it slides back in and close the door and you don't have to look at it or have it in the way till next time. It needs something to counter the weight so it doesn't tip over while the vest is out. I only post this so that if someone gets a handyman streak i might have sparked an idea in them, i might build one for myself eventually. Then again it would be easier to just have it inside the cabinet thing and it just stays there, but who said it has to be simple? you could even put a second pull out shelf above it if it had room for your nebulizer
