PM = Private Message. Click on any of the little heads with chat bubbles and you can send a private message to the user whose post you're looking at.
Here's my answer. I was actively participating in the discussion that was going on in the thread addressed to me, but related to the Great strides walk in WA state. Amy jumped on saying "shouldn't this be a PM" as she has on occasions before (not just to me).
I replied by saying who is she to decide that, it's CF related and ON TOPIC. There are many things that are discussed on this Adult board that are not at all CF related, but if it's not taking away from someone elses post (i.e. starts with a question about CF and then turns into people talking about their favorite show) or insulting them and flinging mud when it's not related to the post, who the heck cares.
For the record, I didn't ask for anything to be removed and was quite surprised to find it gone when I woke up this morning to see what other insulting comments SD had made to me. If anyone is interested, they can "report to moderator" bill and ask him what happened. I'm not sure WHO asked for it to be removed but WAS NOT ME. I do think that comments that are name calling, and tearing people apart (i.e. saying you wish someone would die, or you wish their spouse had another diesease instead of CF) ought to be blanked out on a thread, but that's just my opinion. Bill is going to do his job and remove or lock whatever he feels is necessary. I don't like the fact that this thread was removed either, I even went looking in OT for it. But the fact is it was, and if someone wants an explanation they ought to ask Bill... not me.
And liz, your post wasn't the last one. I responded to some things you had mentioned and then SD posted something and then I went to bed. Apparently Fred (65rosessammauri) had posted too but I didn't see that. Additionally, the comments made by SD, jennifer and fred were removed before I ever got to see them on the thread so clearly others, or the moderator removed them. I had nothing to do with that, or the removal of the thread.
I can dish it, and I can also take it. But you don't see me doing any name calling on this forum and I don't think name calling is appropriate for this forum either. But that doesn't really matter because the moderator decides above all.

Sure Julie, whatever! You had NOTHING! to do with all of the stuff that got deleted. But I must add that trying to bring Amy down with you is pretty pathetic. She was right! It was a thread solely based on you two getting together for a walk...so it bumped some other topic to the next page and maybe I am alone here but I do not sit for hours flipping through the pages unless i have been away for awhile. It was merely a suggestion and I do frequent these boards often and the one example you could find was the same thing!So what if Amy suggested it should be a PM. Get over it! It is one thing to say hi to someone in the middle of a thread but to start one for that reason can be avoided by a PM. Look, I really do not care otherwise...people can post as they wish, however you have been pointing alot of fingers in the direction of my favorite users lately and I am not going to sit here and watch without calling you out! Stop being such a bully Julie! I just wanted to voice all of this for a long time...especially since you upset Allie so badly a few days before Ry's anniversary. I have sooooo many examples where you have rubbed me the wrong way so I will stop here. Just drop the tough girl I run this place attitude...it is unwelcome.

I am merely reacting to the way Julie has been acting and yes I have a right. If my memory is correct I believe she has asked you to leave as well...oh you know that list of all you guys take a hike...blah,blah,blah. Regardless I am just stating my opinion, if she can do it well certainly the rest of us can. Honestly I do not care if anyone agrees or not, I wanted it said.
