Where is the most unusual place you've infused your IVs?

One time I had the eclipse balls and infused one in a bathroom stall while at work on my lunch hour (it was too chilly to go outside to my car). I sat on that toilet seat for a whole hour waiting for this thing to finish... luckily it wasn't one of the busiest bathrooms in the building. <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0">

I have done my IVs in some really funny places...

When I was in nursing school, in lecture class I would always sit in the front row of the auditurim, we had a room that went down on a slant so each chair behind me was raised higher and higher.. The girl who sat behind me for three years was my offical IV holder.. We used an Umbrella. propped it up on the floor and she would tap on my shoulder when I was done infusing, then I would flush my line and rehook up..

I also did IVs at clinical at school and had the eclipse ball and it was in my pocket, I went to lift a patient and it fell out onto the bed.... my patient asked me if he should move over so I can get in bed with him.. We laughed but I was freaked a little because I didn't want to get in trouble.. I just explained to him my lungs are weak and need medication to keep me strong..

I have done IVS in the Car hooked up to the "oh crap" handles... I did IVS as I was walking down the isle to get my nursing degree..
