Which House do you like better

Well the verdict is in..... I went back and forth all day, because I love the porch so much as well, but every house on that street is getting a porch of some sort.. and my orginal throught in getting the brick was I was going to be different, and I was going to havemy big screened in porch in the back...

But after all your feedback and thoughts... I decided to call them and tell them I wanted the house with the porch..... well I called.. but guess what????


To late, they already got the plans approved for the brick house and my neighbor to be picked out the house with the porch next to it.. So even if I was to pay al the extra money to get the property reasssesed, I still couldn't get the house with the porch because of some rule that says you can 't build the same exact house as your neighbor....

It wasn't clear to me at all when I was signing the contract.. I was under the impression I could change up until the preconstruction meeting but I was wrong..

I am not dissppointed because I was so closely torn on both of them, and for all of you who love the porch so much.. at least I will have a great big screened in porch in the back . .... that overlooks a big park..

Thanks for the input.... I feel a little overwhelmed at how many choices I have to make.... and I obviously am very new to this....and don't know what I am doing that well..

It sounds like you are in some type of "community" which means you are going to be limited with what you can do to the house? You cant add a porch later? If you could I bet it would be very limited. Hope you read the fine print sweetie.
