We use the Hillrom vest and not really sure if we like it. The vest itself tends to get almost over filled and starts creeping up wich then causes the vest to get to tight around his arms which in turn causes his arms to go to sleep. We have been sized twice so I don't think it's a matter of it being to big. I think that's just the way it is. One thing with insurance though is our previous insurance company had a max out of pocket expense for equiptment $1500, and they WOULD NOT budge. We've recently switched so we may be trying the Resirtech. Those who have used it, do you have problems with the vest riding up?

No issues with it riding up. The Respirtech is "custom fit" meaning they measure you and design the Vest to fit you. Last I checked HillRom just had standard sizes and if you were in between sizes, for example, you were SOL.

Wow, thanks everyone for the advice on vests. This had made what I thought would be a difficult decision actually quite easy. We are going with the Respirtech. This is the first time I am actually sort of excited for a clinic visit so we can get this vest ordered!
