I have blinked out (2-3 times) for a few seconds while hard coughing. Some what of a scary situtation. I know my limits now and stop coughing for a few seconds and let my body recompose then resume my coughing. I think what happens is you drop your blood pressure, a vagal response to the coughing.
mamaScarlet you be careful with the gift that God has given you!! Take care!! How far along are you?

I only have a few wks to go. Yes, I called the cf doc so waiting to talk to them. The babys moving plenty so im not too worried, but I think this week I just did way too much. Too many outings, way too much physical work at home (thanku crazy nesting). A good wakeup call to remind me to rest...we'll see what the docs say.

You know how little time there is once the baby is here so enjoy it now! Just take good care of yourself please and know lots of us are thinking about you

Wow, scary :-( I always got "head rushes" in the morning when I was pregnant from low bp, but never passed out!

I am glad you are feeling okay and the baby is moving tons. You are in the home stretch...best wishes!!

thanks alot for all the kind words.
So I saw the docs, yes it was a Valsalva. (sudden drop in blood pressure, not enough oxygen to the brain and...bam)
The long and short is that 1. bc I know I won't be able to give my all to chest pt for a little while after baby, I've been pushing myself during chest pt way too hard now. 2. and I'm doing too much! Laying down with my feet up??!-uh, never. So I'm ordered to do so for at least 2 hrs a day here on out.
You kind of get into supermom mode, thanks to these insane hormones, and start thinking you really can do it all. Well, I guess it took passing out to remind me I really am a human being.
