Why such variation in med's and treatments

Those are questions we'll be asking prior to scheduling his next clinic appointment in the fall. I know I read up on all this once before when it was mentioned last year and I did see it mentioned on U of MN's site once upon a time. I do know that with regular CT scans you tend to get a LOT more radiation than with an Xray, so they don't do them all that often.

So far IV antibiotics haven't been mentioned other than when he was first diagnosed as a newborn and one of the CF doctors mentioned how regularly scheduled tune-ups used to be the norm, but not so much anymore.
