why the bubbles?

i know this is kinda gross, but i was wondering if this happens to everyone else. do you notice bubble-type things in your sputum? sometimes i don't, and sometimes i do. and i wonder why?? it seems like the bubbles are there more when i am doing my hypertonic--maybe it is some kind of reaction with it?

any thoughts?

I think its a good sign. I figure its "extra" moisture that has been stirred up from the coughing which causes it to bubble. Just my thought tho!

Or maybe it is because when your coughing it is whippin it up with air and mucus so when it comes out it has some bubbles that is what I think. I have the same thing sometimes
