Wierd Question

Okay I have a wierd question. Adam is in the hospital as some of you know and he was just switched to colistin and zosyn and he is now having accidents...which he has never had. Is that normal and not to be gross but it looks very airy (don't know how to describe).

has anyone had an issue with this before?

Zosyn can affect your liver tho I dont know if that is what could cause the issues that you are speaking of.

Do you mean his stools look fluffy? Sort of like they've had air whipped into them?

If he's in the hospital I think the IV antibiotics can cause some bowel irritation, and that may be giving him diarrhea.

How is he doing? I hope showing some improvement. Why did they switch his meds? I'm guessing due to what he is growing. Anyways, make sure he is taking 2 Culturelle a day while on the antibiotics. That made all the difference in Zoe's stools while on antibiotics. Zoe was on Tobra for the first time in August and she started having accidents, but they were pee pee acccidents. It stopped 1 day after she was off the Tobra.
