It's not the end of the world if both kids have CF - most of what you hear about two CF'ers together is not geared towards kids growing up together in the same household (siblings happen - it's ok :) ) We all just follow some basic rules (like not sharing drinks, utensils, toothbrushes & being cautious about coughing on each other etc)

My daughter has only cultured pseudomonus once, my son has never cultured it. They are now adults and do not reside in the same household, but do visit, we do not worry about it all. So while it is true that often times siblings end up culturing the same bugs eventually, it is not always the case 100% of the time. And, no, I wouldn't think you need to think about moving closer to a hospital.
