I work at home.

I'm an artist and fashion designer, so I basically just paint or make clothes, drop them off to be sold and voila!

And I make decent money off of it.

I work from home doing legal transcription and make my own schedule and work very part time so I have time to do things that de-stress me like cooking, going to the gym, etc... You can IM me if you have any questions. I got my current position as a subcontractor for my husband after he got a referral from a friend who did it. Do you have any transcription experience? Many want experience if you haven't been formally trained in it from what I've read on the internet.

Anyway, just wanted to let you know that working from home can be done and jobs are out there. I agree its kinda hit and miss and sometimes are "strings attached" when applying online for "work from home" jobs. Good luck!!

My husband and I started our own business in November. We have a travel booking site online that allows anyone to book their vacations on our site just like Expedia, Orbitz, Travelocity, etc. It is a lot of work as far as getting your name out there so people know you have a booking agent. You make 60% of the commissions. If you want more info just send me a quick message. THIS IS NOT A SCAM JOB-I could not sleep at night if I was running a non-legit business.
