worried about clinic visit

well we have completed 6 weeks of iv theraphy, 2 weeks of c-diff treatment, which i feel is back again because he is having fevers, cf doctor started us back on flagyl until he sees us on the 7th. His cough is so much better he can finally run around the block a few times and not cough up or loose his breath, says he feels alot better, we have graduation this weekend, he is hoping the picc comes out at clinic visit. I want it out because its what he wants so he can go swimming, hang out with friends all weekend and not worry about iv's for a while. I have prayed for 6 weeks for everything to go good at next visit , so lets see if it worked. thanks to all who read this and know how we feel, and tonight when you lie in your bed please say a little prayed for us and a big prayer for all cfers.

I will pray, too. Have you talked to the doctor about probiotics? I've heard that they can help, but I've not had c diff, so I don't know for sure. There are several posts around here about it, though, and I have just started taking one, and it seems to have helped my tummy issues, and this bout with Augmentin hasn't been as bad as usual. I hope everything goes well!

wow!! just got back from our clinic visit, the best we have had in quite a while, we had picc line removed, fev1 is up and weight is up ( thanks to predinsone), doc says it is time, it has been six weeks and he needs a break and with everything looking good today we can be free. My son is so excited, he graduates HS on saturday, then off to the beach with girlfriend and friends, I thank god for listening to our prayers, I believe he helped him to do well today so that he could enjoy his graduation. So for now we are free from iv's, and being tied down to home at certain times, it is almost like vaction for the three of us, yea summer is here and we hope to have a great one and enjoy each and evey day of it. I will continue to say a prayer every night for all of you who know how we feel today, and we hope that god lets the sun shine in your lives also.
