Soooooo, I had my clinic visit today! First one post abx, and it went well! There was really no change in my PFTs which I was disappointed about, but the doc was encouraged that I am feeling so much better. I was not SUPER suprised by not seeing a change because my brother doesn't usually see a change in his PFTs after abx either. </end quote></div>
SOOOOooo...feeling better, froggie?! hopefully, the PFT's will go up someetime after
<div class="FTQUOTE"><begin quote>I am going to start cycling tobi now to see if that helps. I also got a shiny new Accapella. I've never had one, but I needed something since the cat stole my flutter ball. I really just use it when I am out and about or at work, at home I use a precussor. </end quote></div>
Cat stole your flutter ball? A likely story!! <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif" border="0"> I suppose the cat got it mixed with a "yarn ball"? Just don't let the cat get hold of your Accapella...who knows what it'll do with that!!
<div class="FTQUOTE"><begin quote>They are also going to start the ball rolling with insurance company to get me a vest. Hopefully that doesn't turn out to be too big of a hassle.</end quote></div>
Vest...I'd like to see you put that on the cat and turn it up on "max"! lol! hopefully, if the insurance doesn't pay, the generous vest company will!
<div class="FTQUOTE"><begin quote>My weight is slowly climbing after dropping 7 pounds between being sick and having my appendix out. I have put on close to 2 pounds in the last month. I am going to start drinking some shakes because I am tired of my pants not fitting so I want to speed this up a little. The dietician totally understood why my weight is down, but is happy that I am starting the crawl back up, she just pushed me to keep up with what I am doing and sneek in calories where ever I can.</end quote></div>
Hmm...post divorce weight gain..I had that, too!! gained at least 5 lbs cause I had money and a grocery store closer to my home! Glad your weight is going up to where it belongs.....*what a cliche--sounded like the "Officer and Gentleman" themesong*
<div class="FTQUOTE"><begin quote>Life is good in general! I have been very busy, working, playing volleyball, seeing my friends. I am having the time of my life!</end quote></div>
And this is why I haven't seen you in chat lately?!! I miss those *warm fuzzies*, but get them once in a while when I see something "amphibial" on tv or in the store! But, the fact that you are doing well, spending time with friends and feeling good is good news...oh, and I bet that voleyball playing will definitely up your pft's!!
Miss ya! til next time we cross paths...hope you can get your blog back up, too!

(P.S. if I didn't leave a long message, something would be wrong...probably)
