wow! Don't get any mucus in your eyes!

Be careful when you irigate your sinuses. One time, saline hit my eye so when I irigate or blow my nose, I always close my eyes. I cannot remember how it happend just be careful.

I've had contacts for a few years and never had a problem. However I wash the he!! out of my hands before putting them in so I guess I'm safe unless I get lazy on the hand washing<img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif" border="0">.

I can imagine that if there are germs under the contacts they have enough time and are concentrated on one point, so they can grow and cause problems.
Normally, even if you have cf, cough or sneeze with holding your hands in front of mouth/nose and then touching or rubbing your eyes, germs that get into the eyes will be washed out before beeing able to cause problems.
