Anonymous, that was a very sweet thing you just wrote, I got some tears over it. Good for you, you certainly did the right thing for yourself, your sister and your family!

Caro,

My fifth novel is coming out in mid-August, and one of the main characters has CF. It's called A Little Love Story. Also, if you want to email me, I'll try to answer or help. Our daughter is seven, though, so I might not be able to speak to the specific issues you need. I'm glad you are writing about it and wish you well. raajmerullo@rcn.com

I can't thank you all enough for the response on line and off line so far. I only hope that I can convey enough of the positive side of CF in my book. One thing I have learnt is that the support and openness on this site is amazing, and I feel that all of you do a wonderful job supporting each other and deserve to be congratulated.

Caro,

I'm touched by your book topic as CF has been a part of my life since Rob (brother) was born. I would love to chat personally about what we've gone through as a family, but as you and I are family I'd rather not post too much detail on the site. Jayne would be a wonderful resource as well. Let me know if you're interested.

Lots of love and best wishes
-Sharon

Hey Caro,
if you want to interview a mom of a teen CF girl and a CF teen girl, you could always email my mom and me. I'm 14 and was diagnosed 5 years ago. My mom would probably love to help out, as well.

I just wanted to thank you all again for your offers of help. If I haven't come back to you it is because I am organizing my daughter's wedding next month, and writing is on hold till it is over! I will get back with questions for you all later.
