X Rays may have induced a form of cancer brought on by over exposure to Radiation.

Some time ago my sister (27) found a lump at the base of her shoulder blade.

Over a year later she finally had the lump removed and a biopsy done, we had the results on Friday, She has Cancer.
Apparently, The form of cancer she has may have been brought on by the excessive x rays she has due to her CF, Sclerosing epitheloid fibrosarcoma, I believe that this type of cancer is generally a secondary Cancer, A Trojan 2 on the scale..

Has any one any knowledge of this, will there be complications due to the combination of illnesses?

I have nothing to offer as far as knowing about this form of cancer, but I often wonder about this -- all the x-rays that cf'ers have. I bet my son has had over 100 easily and he is only 7 yrs old. I am sorry your sister has to go thru this. As if CF isn't enough!!

I dont have anything info on this either but have often thought about it.
Pretty much every time i get an x-ray or a cat scan it runs thru my mind.
I'm sorry your sister had this unfortunate occurrance. I will say a prayer for her.
