We use both but not at the same time. When things are great she only uses the inhaler. When she is in a rough pat she nebs it. It gets deeper which helps out more. We have found this system works very well for her.

I always prefer the nebs. It works better for me. IN a pinch, but not on a regular basis & most certainly not when I am sick.....I have used the inhalers.

Some people do use inhalers versus nebs to save time. I just dont think it works well enough for me.

My daughter uses an inhaler for her albuterol instead of a neb. It works fine, even when she is ill. I have seen adults say the wetness of the neb is better for them, so when Alyssa gets older I'll make sure she has both available to know what works for her.
