Happy Friday!!

I have been talking with DR about getting on Xolair because my APBA is acting up! I have been on Prednisone and it messes up by blood sugars.
My dr says there is certain criteria for IGE and Aspergillus levels in order for insurance to cover it!
Does anyone know anything about this? Anyone have any tips to Xolair? I think this will benefit me tremendously!!

you can do a search there are alot previous threads regarding xolair. It will only be effective if your IGE is<1000. It IS very costly for higher dose I take its $1000 every two weeks my insurance covers it so unsure on 'criteria' unless they mean for your plan or that you have to meet the diagnostic criteria for the medicine. The RX criteria which it seems any cf'er would meet are here: <a target=_blank class=ftalternatingbarlinklarge href="http://www.xolair.com/prescribing_information.html

</a>
I get mine through my allergist. You can read about my xolair adventure adn opinions here and several subsequent posts:
