Ugh, Mom Jeans! Saw the SNL episode and promptly tried on all my jeans and sent the more high waisted ones off to goodwill.
Levis 515 -- they sit below the waist and have some lycra in them. I usually get mine at Kohls. I also have some 505's with lycra in them, they're more of a straight/boys fit instead of gathered at the waist. I got some 518s and they're dreadful, they've got too low of a rise and feel like they're going to fall off if I don't tug them back up.
