Zithromax and Nausea

Well it's been almost a month since I orginally posted. Things were good. I made sure that I gave him a few crackers with his late afternoon meds. Hadn't hurled in a long time. Yesterday was really warm. He'd been at the local watermelon festival and was outdoors for a couple of hours. Preschool makes sure he stays hydrated, gets salt.

He had his meds, a couple of crackers. Did his vest. I fixed him a grilled cheese sandwich with a crabby face drawn in ketchup at his request. Plus I'd picked up raspberries at the farmers market. He ate well. And a few hours later he wandered off the bathroom and started hurling again. And then he felt fine. Ugh! Gave him some soda to calm his tummy.

Before bed he requested smores, milk and topped that off with canned peaches. That alone would make me hurl. Sooooo.

Starting the next time he has his zithromax (Saturday), we're going to start giving it to him before bed and hope to god he doesn't hurl in the middle of the night. Especially since he usually ends up crawling in bed with us.

Wow! Good stuff to know as we are just about to start the clinical trial w/ Zithro. So sounds like I should give it to him at nite or during day w/ bland foods? Am open to any other advice!

He was doing fine with just a few saltine crackers. It's only happened 4 times out of the almost 120 days he's been on it. 3 of those days temps were fairly warm and he was very busy.

Gave it to him before bed last night. Was a little worried because he wasn't a very good eater. About 3 hours later, he was a little restless and talking in his sleep -- said ow a few times, but he didn't vomit on us and woke up the next morning fine... Hopefully this will do the trick.
