Zithromax

I would think that Zithro would work just as well to clear up acne than any other abx. I have been on oral abx for many years for acne. My face is very clear now and I am on Zithro MWF.

Ah, the silver lining of this whole infection thing...clear skin from the abs.
Some things I have noted: Avelox clear skin. Cipro no difference.
Bactrim clear skin.
Can't tell you about Zithro--sorry.

I went to a dermatologist last winter and got the following scripts (some are listed for rosacea, which I don't have, but they seem to work anyway).
I am pleased with them, although when backed up by Bactrim my skin is even clearer:

Finacea (topical cream like retin-A but cheaper)
Metrogel (topical abx/steriod I think to reduce redness/inflammation)
Sulfatol Cleanser

It has been 3/4 a year and I am still on the original tubes...so a much better deal than OTC cosmetics.
