Biaxin can be used in the same manner as Zithromax. My doctor had me on Biaxin with my other antibiotics for its anti-inflammatory properties. Only difference is, i took it twice a day everyday. I found the Biaxin to be way more effective than the Zithromax, but that may be just the way it works for me.... we all respond differently to things.
