Zoe being admitted

Hi friends,

Zoe had her follow-up today, after the round of Cipro. Didn't cut it. She will admitted Thursday for her first "tune-up". They have a bronch and her picc scheduled for 11:00 on Friday. Then hopefully a ct scan of her nasal and lungs while she is still sedated from the bronch and picc. If she grows anything from her bronch...she will have to add more meds to the meds they start on Thursday, on Monday. Hopefully she will not, and we will be able to leave the hospital on Monday. This is our first experience with piccs, iv antibiotics at home, etc... a little nervous...but hanging in there.

Appreciate all you thoughts and prayers....
love,

Good luck with your little one, you'll be in our prayers.
We're going through a bit of a battle with Ainsley right now, her tobi isn't working and we went through a bunch of x-rays and the usual routine. I'm hoping nothing serious comes up, so I can relate right now.

I really hope the tune up gets Zoe felling better. I know its difficult to see your little one in the hospital, but from my experience it seems to be a lot harder on mom and dad. Unfourtunetly we have been through tune ups several times and every time Briceton bounces right back, complete with a smile. I really hope the same for Zoe! When Briceton had his bronch, he didn't seem to have any discomfort afterwards, just a little sleepy from the sedation. Also the picc sounds a lot scary than it really is......we now have a port and we actually LOVE it! Have they said anything about possibly letting you finish the course out at home, or will they keep her admitted during the complete tune up? My family will being praying for yours, God Bless!

It hard to have your baby in the hospital. Damien was in for 10 days of iv, He felt so much better after, I mean I could really see the change. I felt relief and Im sure he did to. And that twinkle in his eye and that smirky smile was back. And when I see that I am smiling to.
