Anyone ever culture Group B Strep?

My son has cultured Group B Strep so many times that I've lost count. It started about 3 yrs ago. Sometimes we found it because he would complain excessively about a belly ache, but most of the time it was thru sputum cultures. He will take the antibiotic & be fine. I was told by our CF ctr that...

    Need input re: genetic testing

I would recommend the genetic testing--blood test. My son went TO a geneticist who did nothing & said nothing's wrong, then did 2 sweat tests--1st borderline, 2nd negative, THEN many months later, our new ped doc sent us to a pulmonologist who was smart enough to draw some stinkin' blood...

Pari LC with mask for 'hands-free' operation

My son, Hunter, has Bubbles the Fish mask too & does VEST at same time. That's his tv time as well. It's gotta be the way to go for us as he's younger & too "busy" to hold his neb & doesn't wanna breathe right. So mask is a much better choice for us to make sure he's getting the most of the meds!
