    Treating MRSA

I culture MRSA in lungs and sinuses, and I do not take any maintenance drugs for it. If I have an exacerbation, I take Bactrim DS or Zyvox. But on a regular basis, nothing.

    s1235r and delf508

I have both of those. From the way my genetic results report read, the S1235R is benign. I had Delta F508 and R785X, which are both common mutations. Then I had two others that were benign (including the S1235R). As far as the symptoms, I think it varies with everyone just like CF in general...

    Peak Flow vs PFTs

I'm not sure, but my FEV1 is around 66% and my Peak Flow reading hovers between 450-480. I don't really know what the correlation is!

New changes to medicaid starting in Jan

My doctor has already been having to write "medically necessary" on my prescriptions due to the changes in Medicaid that have happened in Louisiana for about the past year. It hasn't been an issue though.

    Pari Nebulizers

I buy mine from Amazon, but also check with your PFT person at your clinic. Lately they've been giving me two or three new ones when I am there.
