Thank you both for your responses. You have helped to calm some of my fears. This is her first CF related bug, so it's really hitting home for us. Plus everything I read on the internet makes it really scary.

I am pregnant with our second and do not know if he has CF or not (I couldn't bring myself to find out for a variety of reasons). We didn't plan this pregnancy and had we, we probably would have taken a different route to ensure he didn't have CF, but alas, life is what happens when you are...

Dr Mogayzel at Johns Hopkins was my favorite, but I also liked Dr. Paranjape. It's been about a year since we've been there, so I'm not sure they'd still be there. All the doctors there are pretty great though.

We are military and we lived in Severn, MD (between Baltimore and DC), when we were living in MD we changed mine and my daughter's plan to US FAmily Health Plan which is still Tricare Prime and went to the Johns Hopkins CF Center in Baltimore. They were wonderful.

I was living in upstate NY at the time, it was my 21st birthday and I heard it on the radio on my to class. I turned around and got to a television in time to see the second airplane hit. I still tear up thinking about it and try to remember to be thankful for each birthday I get.

My first Ob/Gyn for my second pregnancy was like, "so which one of you is the carrier?" My husband and I looked at each other and said "we both are...that's kind of how it works." We weren't too sad when we had to find another doctor. <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0">
