Ellie has been on home IV's for 8 days. We have been pretty much hanging out at home and not venturing out. When you are on IV's at home do you pretty much treat it like an oral med and go about your day? Or do you stick at the house, similar to being in the hospital? Thanks.
I definitely would ask your doctor about getting a vest sooner. It really does make life easier. Our DD is 20 months (almost) old, and she's had the vest since she was about 9 months old. Her chest had to measure 16 inches. Do you know why they want to wait on it?

We have the Incourage system as well, and it's been great! We did use a Hill rom during Ellie's last hospital visit, but the hoses would pop out occassionally. I'm really glad we went with the Incourage. I haven't hear much about the smart vest.

We have an IQ air Healthpro Plus. Love it, but it was very expensive and the replacement filters are a bit pricey too. We were able to use flexible spending.
