    Greatful?!?

Sean, I'm sorry you have to deal with this not only at your young age, but for your whole life. My son has CF and it hurts me so much to think he will have to go through the feelings you're having. I think most people don't know what to say to someone who deals with what you do, and so they try...

Percussion cups for manual CPT on infant

A google search for "chest percussors" will give you several sites where you can buy them. Our son is also 6 months, and we use the small blue ones. Hope this helps!

    Carriers Having Babies

My husband and I are both carriers, our first child together was born with DDF508, and we are also conflicted about having any more children. I can't seem to wrap my mind around risking it, but am heartbroken at the thought of not having more children.

Cook Children's in Fort Worth, Texas

Our son goes to Clinic there and sees Dr Dyson. I can't say enough about the entire staff. They are amazing. Ready to answer any questions, never get irritated if you call 100 times, and the care is top notch. Cook's is rated in the top 30. CF centers in the US, too. Anyway, we love it. I...

    Pseudomonas Question UPDATE

Don't be afraid to ask for a second opinion! If your son is pancreatic sufficient he wouldn't be skinny. It's imprudent of this Dr to make assumptions about your childs health, and she should do everything possible to rule out CF if she doesn't believe he has it.

    No diagnosis.....just questions

I would ask for a blood test AND another sweat test. If the defective gene isn't one of the known ones it can make a blood diagnosis more difficult, but chances are good at least one of the defects would be known. Another sweat test is a good idea at this point too. Bless you and your son and...
