    Does mucinex work?

    I take 1200 mg. guaifensin expectorant daily, 800 am and 400 pm. Need all the help I can get to thin my mucous. Drink plenty of h2o. 400 tablets cost about $10.00 at Sam's. It helps me!!

    Thirsty after treatments

    I get well hydrated prior to morning neb rx, drink fluids for about 1 hr. before starting. This helps me, get a lot of mucous up and out. Have never been thirsty during or after rx, but I do keep hydrated through out the day.
