Thanks for answering that. It sounds kind of scary and kind of risky, but surley a better chance at a normal and (breath easy)life. Transplant patients are living longer and longer every year, its come a long way and i think the pros outweigh the cons in majority of cases. Margaret, i'm glad...

Just a qiuck ??? When you say the immune system is supressed, is it supressed for a short period or for the rest of you life post transplant? Sorry if its a dumb question!

What a great topic, i'm looking forward to hear what everyone has to say. I never actually thought about this, i guess when Olivia is old enough to do lung functions the same thoughts will be going through my head.

Thanks to everyone fofr your replies. Liza, a clean out sounds like a good idea. I remember her having somthing similar just after birth because she had MI and was realy blocked up. What is actually involved ina clean out? Debbie, i also think its a good idea to get Cheyenne's stools checked...
