I got tx'd June 23rd and I am on 10mg. I was also on Lantus, 5mg, a day pretx for borderline diabetes, so my insulin usage has, oddly enough, not changed that much...unfortunately. In fact if the keeps up, I thinking about going with a pump.

I do the yearly reclast, since I have Gerd also. I got the flu symptoms the first time (fever achiness). The second dose, about a year later, the side effects weren't nearly as bad. One other option is an injectable called Forteo. It actually rebuilds lost bone.

I only get them when in the hospital. Which until the past 3 years wasn't often. However, this year I've been in the hospital 3 times with x-rays each time. When I was at the cf ped clinic, my doc did x-rays yearly.
