If you're not ready to have a kid, you're not ready to have sex, plain and simple. (coming from an almost 19-year-old). We had a a guest baby in class the other day for observation--cutest thing ever, but the child of young, irresponsible parents who had essentially made this child a Shaken...

    My mother makes me laugh....

Some background: my mother is the program director at my college (Physical Therapist Assistant program) and this semester she's teaching Fundamentals of Disease. Right now we're going over infectous diseases, and she covered pseudomonas, and said, "I'm not sure if it can get into the lungs"...

    How many PICCs before Port?

How far do you travel to get to your clinic?

about 1/2 an hour to the one in Tucson, since I live in the outskirts of town and the clinic is on the east side. I want to check out the one in Phoenix because of course, Phoenix has bigger, better of everything. That'd be an easy 2 hour drive.

    How many PICCs before Port?

I've had 2 PICCs thus far, both in my left arm, and both were extremelyhard to place. I'm a touch stick: my veins are tiny and squirmy, and for both procedures I had to be completelyknocked out to get the lines placed. I know eventually I'll...

    insensitive to tobramycin?!

I'm in your boat as well. Was on TOBI for many, many years than came up with pseudo, so the TOBI had to go. Now I'm on Cayston and I love it so much. My PFT's went way, way up (back to my "old" baseline of 90s, which I haven't been at in a few years). If it's an option, ask your doctor about...

    Enzymes and Malabsorption?

interesting, but the only thing that doesn't add up, to me at least, is that you said you had gained about 5 lbs, yet wouldn't malabsorbtion cause the opposite affect??? Have you noticed an increase in thirst/urination as well? That's also a sign of diabetes.
