We have the Hill Rom Vest and I believe all 3 companies work the same way. As the child grows the machine iteself stays the same just the Vest size grows. We were told that new vests as a person grows are free as well as replacement parts such as hoses. We have not needed a new vest size yet...
We have the Hillrom 105 also. As far as setting it for 25 minutes and it goes for 30 we have my daughter's set for 4 five minute sessions with coughing time programmed in between. After the 4rth session it does pause for coughing then starts back up for about 1 minute.

I just wanted to let you know that you are not alone in the diagnostic limbo. Christmas Eve will be a full year since CF was suggested (for the 3rd time in her life) and we still have no definate diagnosis for my daughter. You are not alone. I would ask for the full genetic testing.
