    Interesting

There are ways around some of this stuff. Prilosec, for example. If your doc writes for prilosec capsules (not tablets) the insurance will generally cover it. I used to use that trick all the time.

I am a 30yo CF patient and according to that quick guide, I do not have either obstruction or restriction. There are a lot of factors that affect PFT outcomes such as patient effort, the value set used to calculate % predicted (there are about 15), variations in height or weight with comparison...

I used to work while on IV's. I am a paramedic and it still worked out FWIW.

    good idea

I have to disagree. Having the sub-topic removes the clutter form the main adults section. It's also much easier to see whether the same topic or question has been posted and addressed already (sometimes multiple times). It will also not take Google spiders long to find and map the new...

    Bronchitis - Any Advice?

hmm the tessalon worked very well for me when I had a nasty dry hacking cough. Unfortunately, the only other alternative is narcotic cough suppressants.

What version PFT do you use?

You'll need more than one PFT at your new clinic to be able to track your progress. My clinic uses Polgar. It's unfortunate there isn't a national standard, but that's just how it is.

    New Enzyme Approved

The FDA required the pharma manufacturers to review the enzymes to assure that they were optimal for CF patients. My guess is that Ultresa is Ultrase re-released.
